Damn it! I wish I could poop!

Constipation is even more uncomfortable when your butt is on the front. It's been a full two days of no action (so far) and I feel the fecosity (if that's not a word I think it should be...Meaning: Unusually full of an inordinate amount of fecal matter.) However I did get some chiropractic adjustments today and these wonderful manipulations have a way of setting my body back into the ideal position to do all of the things more efficiently, so now I wait.

I have had to get used to my ostomy, I mean it's really weird being able to see your intestines but what they don't really warn you about is how the flesh doughnut undulates and grows in size or goes back inside the body, at least temporarily...One hopes. If everything is regular my ostomy AKA "Klaus," stays within 1 3/4-1 5/8 range but if constipated (or full of fluids from IV's in the hospital) he can blow up to the size of a large mandarin. I still find it creepy when Klaus decides to do his best blueberry girl from Willy Wonka impression but at least I know better than to panic😬

I am laying on my couch with a heating pad on my tummy, an old pug curled tight behind my knees and I just ate some cauliflower soup. I guess there was a scientific study where foods were tested on cancer cells and certain foods inhibited cells for certain cancers, cauliflower specifically works on colorectal along with cabbage, brussel sprouts, beets and a couple others but the food that works to inhibit any cancer cell is garlic... At least I can start to eat even more mindfully and luckily I love garlic and everything else I listed. Food is medicine, I really wish Western medicine incorporated this more into their treatment plans.

I think I am going to grout the mosaic window tomorrow, I am excited to see how it turns out.

Fingers crossed I poop soon!

Until next time ❤️
